For our latest installment of New Faces, we sat down with one of our newest team members, Matt DiPasquale. He is a member of our pre-sales team, and we're excited to have him. So let's get right into it...
1. When did you join the Bamboo Solutions team, and what is your role?
I started on July 29, 2015 as a member of the Pre-Sales Team. I provide customers with support during their trial periods. Soon I’ll be hosting webinars and one-on-one demonstrations as well.
2. What's your professional background?
Prior to working at Bamboo Solutions, I was a customer support supervisor for six years, where I ran a team in charge of enterprise onboarding and off boarding.
3. What were some of your first impressions of working at Bamboo?
I’ve found the atmosphere very friendly and family-oriented, which is a nice change because I’m coming from a more corporate environment. It’s nice to feel that your coworkers value you and want to get to know you. On my first day, Sean, my supervisor said, “Here’s your office. Let’s get your computer set up.” I thought it was nice to have my own space and all the help to onboard me.
4. What interests or hobbies do you enjoy outside of work?
I am big into sports. A couple of college buddies and I run a blog and host online-radio broadcasts. Of course, we used to play a lot of sports too.
5. Tell me about your office decorations!
These are collector’s items called Pop! I started collecting them four years ago when my wife got me some for Christmas. I only have some of them here in my office, but I have over two hundred. I like the Batman ones the most.
6. If you were stranded on a deserted island and were granted one prized possession, what would it be?
Let me get back to you on that one.
7. If you could have a theme song playing as you walk into the office every morning, what would it be?
It would be Chris Jericho, my favorite wrestler’s theme song.
